8th meeting of the European Migration Forum
During the 4th & 5th of December Cooperativa Rinascita has partecipated ti the 8th edition of the European Migration Forum (EMF), organised by the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) in Brussels.
This year’s EMF, entitled “Migration in Europe today: specific needs, skills and communication for stronger inclusion”, aimed to address how to identify and support migrants and refugees with specific needs; examine public attitudes and communication on migration and inclusion, as well as loon sustainable labour market integration.
The forum had different roundtables:
Roundtable 1 - “Identifying and supporting migrants and refugees with specific needs”
Roundtable 2 - “Public attitudes and communication on migration”
Roundtable 3 - “Sustainable labour market integration”
The aim of the forum was to enhance coordination and cooperation between key players involved in the multilevel European governance of migration and help European policy-makers to understand better the main challenges that civil society organizations and social partners face in the field, and to identify ways to better support their efforts to address migrants, needs.
Cooperativa Rinascita felt really glad to be involved in this forum.
